Acupressure & Other Gentle Therapies for Children
We use mostly NO-needle techniques: acupressure, pediatric tuina massage, cupping, moxibustion, guasha, and herbal tinctures. Children respond very well and very quickly to these therapies.
Acupressure [is] painless and can provide some of the same effects [as acupuncture]... it helps children and teens with a wide range of issues, including:
-
Sleep problems

What parents have said
Hillary is an amazing and highly skilled acupuncturist. My 7-year old needed care and she was so great with him. She used a variety of things in her approach including moxibustion and some stimulation of acupuncture points using a jade stone. She did not do a lot of needling (and was very gentle when she did). My son never cried or felt afraid. She was kind and caring and attuned to my son during every treatment. Afterwards, she always explained my son's progress to me in a way that I could understand. I would highly recommend Hillary, especially if you have a child who needs acupuncture.

My 3 year old had a traumatic birth and has always had digestive issues. My daughter responds like a dream to her treatments with Jonathan, and I always see physical improvement in the appearance of her tummy the same day.
