Bite-Size Chinese Medicine

Quick notes mostly about fitting old-world wisdom into a modern American life.

Once you find good

When I first became curious about healthy eating, I assumed that once I changed my diet for the better, my digestive system would become stronger, and I would be somewhat immune to the effects of an occasional sugary, cheesy, greasy diversion.

That's not how things have played out.

Apparently, a happy body yells louder than a sad one.

I've noticed the same pattern with physical activity, mindfulness, and time in Nature. Once you find good, bad feels so much worse.
