Shoulder intersections (two-way streets)

One of the most common physical complaints is tightness and discomfort at the base of the neck / top of the shoulders.



“I carry my stress here,” most people say. Or, "I sit at a computer all day."

There are twelve primary Qi pathways (channels) in the body, each associated with a different vital organ. Here's a list of the channels that connect with the base of the neck / top of the shoulders:

Stomach, Large Intestine, Small Intestine, Urinary Bladder, Gallbladder, Lung, Kidney

Irregularities in any of these organs or their channels can cause the tissues at the base of the neck / top of the shoulders to get crunchy.

And the reverse: crunchiness at the base of the neck / top of the shoulders can cause irregularities in any of these organs...
