There's a park near my home.
As you approach from a distance right now, from about 100 yards away, all you see is a blanket of white flowers.
But when you reach the edge, your eye is drawn instead to collections of tiny, bright yellow flowers.
Only when you enter the grounds, do you notice all the deep purple flowers scattered amongst the rest.
Of course, if you lie down, face to the sky, you won't see flowers at all. Just the crowns of the trees and the same blue we all live beneath.
And, oh! if I had a microscope and a botany textbook...
To know something or someone requires many different ways of looking.
